The Orion Portal brings together Level 1 and Level 2 solutions, with a focus on Level 2.

## Capabilities

- **Mathematical optimization:** Linear and mixed-integer programming, constraint programming and metaheuristics applied to real operational problems, with constraints that do not fit in a generic tool.

## History and team

Orion grew out of its founder and CEO Leandro Corso's frustration with the gap between analysis and decision: sophisticated models that never reached the people who decide, while everyday choices were still made on intuition. The company was built to close that loop: to bring mathematical optimization to the point where the decision is made, and to stay alongside it.
